Overall very reliable (with a minor flaw)

This model SVC1021 is the same as what I had bought a few years ago except for a couple of modifications made by the OHM manufacturer: (1) 2 mini brushes were added to the extreme left and right sides of the floor brush. I don't see any significant dirt/hair trapping improvement with these additions and think they could have just stick to the original design and cut the extra cost to consumers (2) The 2 connecting tubes fitted between the main unit and various brush options have been modified (different materials and design). The new tubes do not fit well at all and tend to fall off easily. To secure the connections, you need to use lots of force but this will also mean that dismantling and changing of the brushes later on will be very difficult since they are too tightly connected initially. The original version was so easy to connect and remove and the connecting parts FITTED perfectly! This new version of the tube is definitely a flaw to me. Other than the above, the casing of the main unit itself is sturdy and durable, vacuum suction power is satisfactory and the plastic dust cannister is easy to wash and clean. Selfix's free delivery is prompt (ordered on day 1 and received on day 3, and most importantly, within my requested hours) and packaging is neat and secure. Also, as this is my first order, there is a SGD10 online discount which makes it more attractive than other online sites.
